Being only 2 minutes from the A47, but in the most relaxing countryside environment, Yaxham Mill has 11 modern bedrooms, a highly acclaimed, yet informal restaurant and a bar serving real ales, as well as all your favourites.
We really do stand out from the crowd sure to the Mill; the present Mill Tower was built in 1860 for the owner William Critoph. At a height of 48 feet with 6 stories and four double suttered sails, the Mill Tower was a spectacular sight when tarred and freshly painted. The conversion to accommodation, restaurant and bar has been sympathetic, but modern in style, with with rooms boasting great showers, flatscreen TVs and Wi-Fi Internet Access.
We're trying to keep the place nice and friendly too. We're family run, and the staff are always welcoming.

Directions to Yaxham Mill

From East or West: Turn off the A47, at the sign for 'Dereham'. Then simply follow the signs for the B1135, signed for 'Wymondham'. Yaxham is only 2 miles off the A47. At Yaxham, continue onto Norwich Road [i.e. no longer follow the B1135], we're at the end of the village. Just look for the mill! and you're there! From the South: Depending on your starting point, either take the A1075 [from thetford] or the B1135 [from Wymondham]. Follow signs for Yaxham [B1135], then turn onto Norwich Road heading out of the village. We're on the right hand side.

If you want to eat at the hotel it's worth booking before you get there. They get really busy and the food was great, so it's worth the call. The staff were lovely and I had nothing to complain about...it's a friendly place and as a single female staying there I was made to feel very welcome and would happily recommend this to my colleagues and friends!

We ate in the restaurant on 2 evenings and thoroughly enjoyed both meals.Service from all staff we encountered was excellent.The hotel is pretty easy to find and centrally located,we used it as a base to tour round the North Norfolk coast.

The staff where all helpful,but the breakfast lady was really helpful,friendly and pleasant a credit it to you. The food was very good value for money. I will hopefully see you soon.
