the owners were very helpful as they made tea and coffee in the bar (where they normally don't do this) for my girlfriend who rarely drinks alcohol. The owners were also incredibly friendly and we weren't treated like guests, more like friends who had dropped in for the weekend. Altogether a very injoyable experience which I heartly reccommend to anyone who stays in Swindon |

The hotel reception was unattended at all times throughout my stay & there didn't appear to be anyone around at any time to offer any kind of service. This hotel is very noisy & could do with double glazing in the rooms as it's above a busy pub beer garden which has live music/DJ's at the weekends. The room was of a basic standard that you would expect to get for £50 per night, however it wasn't cleaned very well as there were cobwebs in several places & dirty tiles in the bathroom. There was a breakfast tray laid out with tea & coffee making facilities, 2 sweet bread rolls, marmaldae, fruit & orange juice but if your after a traditional breakfast you will be dissapointed. Becuase I was out working late at night the music & noise didn't affect me too much but if you're looking to get an early night I would steer clear of this hotel. At the end of the day you get what you pay for. |

Although there was more than your normal biscuits, tea etc in the room (bread rolls, bananas, juice) i would have prefered it if there was at least a bar of soap in the bathroom to wash my hands - none of this is provided. |
