Pub/Hotel easy to find as on main junction in Bugle between Bodmin & St Austell. Good location central to N / S Cornish coast. 2 miles to Eden and China clay museum. People very welcoming and happy to do anything to make stay comfortable. The room was fine, basic by some standards but neat and clean with all mod -cons required (TV / coffee kit etc). All facilities good. We didn't eat at the hotel cos we were out all day - so can't comment on much of the food - other than breakfast which was great - got the feeling they'd do whatever you asked for. If you stay over Saturday night there's the possibility of entertainment til about midnight. There was a band on when we were there, we got back about 11 - didn't attend cos we were exhausted - but they sounded pretty good (from our room). Thanks |
