This hotel was great, just 10 mins from the airport. The surroundings are a little run down but all in all it was a lovely stay |

Great hotel, halfway between Dublin Airport and the city centre. We found it really easily, and were pleasantly surprised by how clean, modern and bright the hotel is. This is a brand new Travelodge and was absolutely sparkling clean. Our room was big and light, and our bathroom was lovely. There is a restaurant and bar within the hotel, we ate there a couple of times and found the food to be plentiful and of good quality. Our one and only gripe was with breakfast. This is advertised as being served between 7-11 Mon to Fri and 7-12 Sat and Sun, however when we arrived in the restaurant at 10.30am on Friday, we were asked why we were so late. This wasn't even asked in a humourous way, we were asked rather aggressively. Bearing in mind that breakfast is served until 11, this was a bit cheeky and put us off the rather expensive 10 Euro breakfast. |

When we could not find the hotel, we went to a Travelodge 10 miles away and asked for directions to Ballymun. We were told they had not heard of the hotel, so they called for us. The Ballymun receptionist did not know how to get us from where we were to Ballymun, so we just found it on our own by trial and error. No internet available and the two machines in the lobby were broken. The hotel could also not exchange any type of currency and had me look to a local bank to exchange cash. |
