The Hotel was not as I had expected. Basic isnt even close....!!!!!
I had a single room the first night there, and the HOT WATER BOILER was in the same room and kept me awake all night, granted I was moved, but not a good start. I requested a change and this was done, but the place I was asked to stay in, had a HOT WATER BOILER in it as well, not as noisy, but still had difficulty sleeping at nights due to the noise.
There was no fridge in the place I was placed after the first night and had to purchase my own MILK and COFFEE as there wasnt much available... I had to on occassions collect cups and glasses from the other side of the house to have a COFFEE.
Food/Breakfast was nice although basic..........
Over all - NOT Impressed. Wouldnt Stay there again.

Directions getting there are clear enough, but it's easy to confuse Boston Manor Road with Boston Road, as we did. Even on GoogleMaps, it was shown as being the same street! We walked the wrong direction and asked a local as soon as we noticed the street name difference, but she told us we were on the right one, whilst we weren't!
The lady at Hazel Wood was very understanding that we were going to be an hour late in checking in and directed us to the place, which is actually easy to find and get to.
Our room (a double en-suite) was warm (automatic heating) and quiet, even though the hotel is on a busy road and we found the dogs outside not at all problematic. They only barked when one of the ladies was showing other guests to their rooms.
Breakfast was basic, nothing spectacular, but nice.
All in all, it was a sweet place, and just right if all you're looking for is a warm and clean room for the night (or a few).

Very basic accommodation, but clean and comfortable. Good continental breakfast. Limited free parking outside on main road. Didn't see a sign outside for the B&B so note the picture on Laterooms. You may have to phone a mobile so that the woman who runs it can come around to let you in - which she did very quickly.

Good basic accommodation for a few nights away. The room was basically furnished but the bed was comfortable. I didn't go to watch TV so the lack of a set wasn't a problem. The room was warm and the little ensuite was fairly new and everything worked as it should. Fresh towels and soaps etc every day, The room was double glazed and so quiet even though the houses are located on a busy road, close to an elevated section of the A40 and near the Heathrow flight path. The lady who looks after the house was very nice and the continental breakfast ample for me and I like my food. The location is handy with the tube being 10 minutes down the road and because its on the Picadilly line you can be in Leicester Square in about 30 minutes.
Downsides - there is no reception and when you arrive you need to phone a mobile number and then wait to be let in. Take the mobile number and ring up at least 10 minutes before you get there. Two dogs are kept in the back garden which you may have to go through to get to breakfast. They were fine with me but I'm well used to dogs. If you like your decor pristine then this isn't the place for you. It's a work in progress with lots of unpainted wood especially in communal areas.
Overall its good basic accommodation and value for money. Would I stay there again> Yes.
