The White Vine House

24 High Street, Rye

The White Vine House is a small, seven room independent guest house in the centre of the ancient Cinque Port town of Rye. The owners, husband and wife team Barbara and Javed, also live on-site so as to ensure your stay with us is as it should be.
We’re proud to have been awarded Five Stars by the AA as a testament to our quality of service.
Whilst each of the rooms retain all of their historic charm, we hope you’ll enjoy the modern touches as well. Wi-fi access is available free of charge to our guests from June 2008, and all rooms come equipped with a Philips flat-panel television and DVD/CD player. You will also find Babylis hairdryers, Revlon illuminated make-up mirrors, lint rollers and an iron & ironing board, plus extra bedding. A well stocked hospitality tray is provided in each room, free of charge.
All rooms are en-suite and our attention to detail means that we are pleased to offer hand-crafted soap from the Visionary Soap Company, based in Hastings, and all-natural organic, non-animal tested toiletries from Naturally Thinking, in Surrey.

If you want a romantic retreat in Rye, you will be hard pressed to beat room 3 (superior double) at this hotel, simple luxury in that often looked for but rarely found quaint english house. Fantastic...worth every penny of the £150 per night..go on, treat yourself!

My room was lovely, with all those extra touches that make you feel welcome. There was real coffee on the hospitality tray, and very nice toiletries in the bathroom. The owners were very friendly without being over-bearing. I would definately recommend this for either business or pleasure.
