the standard rooms (not in the main house) are really poor quality and the bathroom is in desperate need of update plus very very small. We complained and we were told that for the offer price we paied (90pounds per 2nights)that was the deal...so i can't even imagine what room would anyone get on the offerof 19pounds per night that they are advertising now....a tent in the garden? We were given a room in the main house which was much better but still I would never pay full price for this one . The bathroom was very big but so not stilish. All in all a very very disappointing place....the main house is beautiful but the new built accomodation is a disgrace! The only good thing was the leasure club...small but very nice. Breakfast was also very disappointing!! Quality of food very very poor! |

Best value business hotel I have stayed in. Excellent base for london. 5 minutes from the station, only £2.20 to park all day, 30 minutes into London. |

Breakfast and leisure facilities were excellent. the only criticisim i have is being asked for my room number whilst eating my breakfast this should be done by the staff prior to sitting down for a meal. |

Thoroughly excellent stay. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. We had a room in the new block right next to the exclusive Spa Leisure Club and after a dip in the pool and a few minutes in the steam room we were totally relaxed, it was a real treat. Just a short walk through the corridor into the old house you'll find lots of windey corridors, back rooms and old secret stairways. All this just a stones throw from London. We didn't want to leave. |

Being on a special deal ensured that we had a downgraded room - unlike other de-vere hotels enjoyed, when asked for a room that was as per description, we had to pay for an upgrade. Not helpful and certainly I got what I paid for - Tacky!! |
