The Grand hotel is old but charming. Mina(?) at reception, Andrew the dinner waiter and Josephine were superb...very helpful, good natured and great with advice for the next stage of our travels. The room was fine with excellent views. Yes we'd stay again & advise our friends to do the same. Living in Australia, I find the prices of meals & accommodation hard to understand - 69 euros for a double room was at the lower end ! Still for Ireland it was great.

Couldn't believe this hotel was only €69.00 for bed and breakfast. Nice large room over looking the beach - was a bit old fashioned but it's an old hotel so it's suited. The staff are unbelievable friendly and the food was great. Had dinner in the restaurant and bar food the following day. I was here on business, meant to be only one night but ended up 3. Was very happy to stay here and already have booked to come back for our Christmas Party with my company - and bringing 25 people.

I thought the hotel was closed when I drove up to it. It's very badly signposted also (although not such a bad thing as I wouldn't recommend people stay there. Very old and delapidated. The shower in the room didn't work. Although it was a clean hotel, it was very old and everything seemed very worn out.
