Welcome to The Sandpiper Guest House in Torquay
Set in a peaceful leafy lane, only a short walk from the seafront, The Sandpiper Guesthouse, (formerly the Sandpiper Hotel), has been decorated and furnished throughout to a very high standard.
You will receive a very warm welcome from resident proprietors David and Carol Groves who will do everything they can to make your stay here as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, in the hope that like so many other guests, you will want to come and stay again.
The Guesthouse is licensed for residents and has a well stocked luxurious Bar.
All our bedrooms have

hairdryers
tea making facilities
televisions
and are furnished to a high standard, and most are en-suite, some on the ground floor.
Sandpiper is centrally heated for the early or late break so why not take advantage of Torquay's mild climate and visit us out of season.
We cater for long weekends and gladly accept mid-week bookings out of season. We look forward to seeing you soon.

From M5 straight on to A380, then on to A3022 to Torquay. At Torre Station (by Halfords) move into right lane, towards sea front, carry on into Avenue Road and across the lights at the junction with Mill Lane. Then turn next left into Bampfylde Road and next left again into Rowdens Road, and we are just along on the left hand side.

The owners of this Hotel were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The Hotel and our room was very clean and comfortable. And although we booked the smaller room it was quite adequate with value for money. We never had Breakfast as we were not up very early each morning, but we never heard of any complaints from the other guests. We would definately stay there again.

Nice quiet location,the accomodation was clean and comfortable although a little dated. Staff were both welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our short stay.
