Whoop Hall was adequate for our needs, needed somewhere to stay for the night in the area. the only thing I'd say is that the room could have done with being a bit warmer. Oh and also, these days, no hotel these days has any excuse for serving instant coffee in the morning and advertising it as "Freshly brewed coffee"... ! Even with service stations the penny has dropped.. |

I left comments with the hotel. On the whole I had a pleasant stay. Overall the food was excellent except for the last dinner which was the Lamb shank and which was very tough and tasteless. Other meals no problems and compliments to the chef were left. |

Have stayed at Whoop Hall before and paid the full price but got a lighter room. Apart from the room being a little dark couldn't fault anything else apart from in the restaurant. The fact that there are two menus for the Bistro or restaurant but people were eating in bar and there were no lights on in either. We ended up in Bistro just the two of us untilI think it was manager and wife? The disturbing thing was a conversation which we could clearly hear about a customer ringing up for a cheap room for night. After several words it was agreed they should let the customer stay for £50.00 for a double! Not really something you want to hear being discussed especially if you had paid the full price for your room! |

Family room was not particularly spacious. Our room, although very clean, was quite 'tired' especially the carpet. The view from the pool was lovely, and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would probably stay here again, but would be requesting a suite next time. |
