The apartments were not easy to get to from the airport if you don't have a car - an awful lot of walking is involved! Also they were a bit too far out of the City Centre - again a lot of walking uphill after a night out. Take a good pair of walking shoes. Ask for a room overlooking the courtyard at the back if you can as otherwise the rooms can be noisy from the passing traffic. Spacious rooms and very clean and the kitchen well equipped - even a dishwasher as well as washing machine so ideal for longer stays and families with children. |

The apartments were perfect! So clean and tidy throughout. The staff were extremely helpful, especially when my key wouldnt work in the lock. This was sorted efficiently even though it was midnight. The only downfall was the area the apartments are in. Taxi drivers advised me not to be walking round the streets in the dark near the apartment block not even if you are in a group. Apart from that, its a great place! |

These apartments are in a great location close to the Pubs and there is a wonderful place to eat 1 block away Cafe Irie for breakfast that is home cooking. I would stay here again. |

We really enjoyed our visit. Using the 748 bus from the airport wasn't wholly successful, might be better to take the 123 from Christchurch to O'Connell St then the 747 which runs more frequently. Loved the apartment, very spacious and well-equipped. Couple of minor points, mirror in double bedroom in wrong place for using the hair dryer even tho' it had a long lead. Another shelf or rail in the bathroom would be useful, and we did personally find the duvets far too warm certainly for September. For shopping we used the Spar up on the High Street to the left, but there is also a Lidl along to the right a bit further on. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and music at The Brazen Head, all we could have wished for really. We will return. |
