In an ancient Venetian palace of the XVI century there is the “RESIDENZA ALLE ZATTERE”, an elegant and comfortable place where you can spend unforgetable holidays in a quiet and charming part of Venice.
The Residenza alle Zattere is at about 100 m from one of the most charming places in Venice, the Zattere, close to the Accademia, the Guggenheim Museum, Palazzo Grassi, and about 10 minutes walk from Rialto and Piazza San Marco. At the Zattere you can have long walks, you can lunch, have an ice cream with a wonderful sight over the Laguna. The palace has a private garden where you can have breakfast, and you can spend hours in full relax

By car: To reach Residenza alle Zattere, when you are in Piazzale Roma ( the bus and car terminal ), you have to take the vaporetto, linea 51, and stop in Zattere stop. When you are in Fondamenta Zattere, you have to go straight to your left for about 30 metres, you have to cross the bridge in front of you, then you have to go straight for other 50 metres, go through the little calle that you see on your right, once out of the street you have to through the bridge in front of you and that on your left. Turn to right, and after few steps you will see an old green door, it is Residenza alle Zattere. By train: To reach Residenza alle Zattere, when you are in the rail station Venezia Santa Lucia, you have to take the vaporetto, linea 51, and stop in Zattere stop. When you are in Fondamenta Zattere, you have to go straight to your left for about 30 metres, you have to cross the bridge in front of you, then you have to go straight for other 50 metres, go through the little calle that you see on your right, once out of the street you have to through the bridge in front of you and that on your left. Turn to right, and after few steps you will see an old green door, it is Residenza alle Zattere. By plane: at the airport Venice Marco Polo, take the shuttle transfer from the airport Marco Polo, and get off at the ZATTERE stop. You can also take the bus, stop at PIAZZALE ROMA and take the waterbus (vaporetto), line 51( see directions at the point before ).

    Wow is what you think when you see the room, however a few things stopped this being a perfect stay, the Jacuzzi broke immediately leaving us with a flooded bathroom, the satellite TV had 1 channel. The owner struggled to find our reservation and then tried to charge us more than we booked the room for.

    La residenza è in un'ottima posizione fuori dalla confusione ma nello stesso tempo centrale. L'ospitalità è buona come anche la qualità e la pulizia dell'hotel. Però, diversamente da quanto scritto nei dettagli delle camere nella descrizione dell'hotel, nella camera la jacuzzi non c'era e la TV al plasma da 42 pollici era inutilizzabile perché la parabola era guasta.
