The Melvin House is a beautiful Victorian town house hotel just minutes from Princes Street. It is in Edinburgh`s West End. Victorian charm and grand architecture the minute you walk up the entrance steps and walk through the elaborate wooden archway and take sight upon the fabulous marble stairway. The hotel also boasts one of Edinburgh`s finest private libraries.All the bedrooms have bathrooms or shower-rooms and most have excellent views. Lovely dining room and bar for our guests to enjoy.

Huge, comfortable room and excellent location with great views, although decor was a little old-fashioned, and facilities somewhat limited.
