An excellent hotel, in an excellent location. Staff were exceptionally friendly and extremely helpful. Hotel was in an excellent location with plenty of bars, restaurants nearby. Was also very close to most of the major attractions (walking distance). Would defintely stay there again and more than happy to recommend to any friends or relatives. |

This hotel is set within a traditional Eastern European apartment block so may not be to some people's liking if they prefer a grand front entrance and hotel lobby. The entrance is also very difficult to find and even our taxi driver struggled. However, after the initial shock of the lack of grandeur and dull and dingy entrance area up to the first floor reception, the friendliness of the welcome and the cleanliness of the room was a welcome surprise. The hotel has rooms facing the inner "courtyard" and also overlooking the street. Ours overlooked the courtyard so was quiet but the rooms overlooking the street were brighter and had a view but were also probably more noisy. There is no dining area so breakfast was brought to your room. |

I was really surprised by this hotel. It is really very nice and right in the historical center, close to everything. Next time I come to Budapest, I will take the family there. The receptionists were extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms were large, clean and quiet. Also it was very nice to get free internet because usually when I travel, I have to pay for the connection. Highly recommended. |
