Lavinia House was just how it was shown on their web site. Our room was fault free and very comfortable, although not for the disabled as it was on the top floor, three flights up! Breakfast was excellent and my wife and i would certainly stay there again. It was very easy to book on line. The only down side was the water pressure for the shower in the en suite and no bath. |

The hotel was very welcoming, clean and comfortable in general. However, the room felt overcrowded with its 4 poster bed which was very hard (and uncomfortable) hence we feel overall the hotel failed slightly on value for money. On a personal level I would have liked a shower in the en suite. |

The bed was a bit hard for our liking, but that was the only negative thing about our stay. |

Nice clean room, beautiful view, friendly service and happy to accomoadate me when I changed the number of nights I needed to stay. The one problem was that brakfast was only from 8.30 - 9.00 which is rather a short window. However, if I am staying in Whitby again I would make the Lavinia the first place I contacted about accomodation. |
