The White Hart Inn is a three star property situated between Stamford, one of the finest Georgian stone towns in England and the cathedral city of Peterborough. Located just off the A16, with excellent links to the M11, junction14 and the M1 junction 21. Guests can enjoy a supreme comfort and dedicated professional service which makes this the ideal location whether travelling for business or leisure. The six individually themed rooms with bespoke styling. They are furnished in a simple but luxuriously comfortable style. Opulent detailing is evident in all guest rooms. All rooms have en-suite facilities, built-in LCD television and all other modern facilities guests would expect from a hotel of this calibre. Rates are inclusive of Full English Breakfast, which is freshly prepared each morning. With a regularly changing menu, the hotel takes advantage of the affluent array of local produce on offer. This includes sourcing all meat from local farms and fresh fish is delivered on a daily basis, even down to the free-range eggs. The hotel prides itself on being able to provide a 100% fresh organic range of fruit and vegetables, also sourced locally. There are three options for guests dining at The White Hart, the main restaurant offers an intimate style of dining, with the bar offering a retreat before and after meals. With a range of tables available, this is the perfect space to entertain family and friends in a relaxed atmosphere. The newest addition to The White Hart, the Orangery offers a much larger indoor space to enjoy the food. Linking the two main buildings together the room offers a unique atmosphere, allowing you to take in the surroundings with the hand crafted flag stone floor. Even in winter the room is still inviting due to the under floor heating. And finally, with a number of large outside tables, the summertime brings the offers of alfresco dining. The bar offers spacious seating areas and is perhaps the most traditional part of the pub. The hotel prides itself on the beer. The hotel has 3 of its own beers, which has of course a constant presence in their portfolio. On top of this they have two ever changing guest beers, sourced locally as much as possible. Come and enjoy a refreshing drink whilst soaking up the sun and atmosphere in the courtyard gardens. With patio heaters and sun parasols the hotel is prepared for whatever the British Summer has to offer. The town of Stamford is situated 100 miles north of London, just off the A1, which was the old Great North Road leading to York and Edinburgh. Captured in time by its conservation status this once major wool town has retained much of its old world charm and prosperity. Many of the buildings are constructed from old Lincolnshire limestone, hence the town's distinguished appearance and popularity with tourists and movie directors alike.

We live locally and have eaten here many times before and always enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. We decided spontaneously to stay here for our anniversary so booked through laterooms. We were absolutely delighted with the rooms, the service and the breakfast were exceptional so much so we will definitely stay here again!! Highly recommend.

Fantastic little place to stay. Comfortable characterful rooms (mind your head!), excellent food, friendly staff and its own beer to boot. Will definitely stay here again when we're next in the UK. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
