The room had not been aired for some time. I have stayed in better rooms at the same price in Nottingham.

very small, very cold and very dirty. not a nice place to stay. the only good thing is that the staff are polite and very helpful.

Room was a little chilly and being at the front, subject to traffic noise. It was adequate for our needs as a place to rest our heads after a Xmas night out. The staff were all very friendly but the breakfast was a little lacking.

Breakfast was the best part of the stay, with friendly service and good food. Unfortunately, the room was below standard; tired, cramped and shabbby looking, not too clean (dead flies on windowsill!), and had a problem with damp! If the window was shut, the room would get condensation and would start to smell musty, so we left the window open all night. The TV remote didn't work with the TV, and the bathroom door (sliding) had come off its rails so needed to be picked up and lifted into place. On the plus side, the bed was clean and reasonably comfortable.

Very satisfactory. I would use this hotel again. Not certain I would reccommend it to anyone else.
My only problem is that one member of staff has a communication problem, and needs help with language skills.
