Best guest house I have ever stayed in. Outstanding bedroom with huge bed, jacuzzi bath and multi-head shower and views across River Swale. Lovely art deco sitting room. A nice selection of cask ales and home-cooked food. Roger, the owner gives a warm welcome and is smashing host. What a find. Stay! |

A very warm welcome awaited us on a wet evening! Even the rain could not disguise the fantastic location of Rowleth End, although we did resist the offer of borrowing the dog for a walk and settled instead for a glass of Yorkshire wine in front of the fire! The evening meal was a pleasant, sociable event, and the food was great. The room was very comfortable with some lovely extra touches. All in all we felt more like house guests than paying guests and would definitely return, and recommend to friends and family. |
