The hotel is difficult to spot on it's run down high st, as from the outside looks like a run down indian resturant. No where to park nearby. All staff spoke v.little English. Manager cleaned our room when we were in it! Steep spiral stairs. Had phone call around 6pm, to tell us our room (that we could've checked into at 3pm!) Was not available, despite our confirmed booking. When we arrived our room was free but un prepared. Was difficult to sleep due to shouting and endless police sirens! |

The hotel is situated in south london, there were no other hotels around. the streets were dirty and the area seedy. The hotel's main entrance is nice and the staff friendly. The room we had was at the top of a very small winding staircase, very small and clustrophobic. The window didn't lock properly and the bottom selaed unit had condensation. the air conditioning unit leaked water. The only saving grace was the new bathroom, however the shower base could not cope with the water and as a result the water overflowed onto the floor, this was resloved by removing the drain insert. We did complain about these things and a note was made. |
