Small and comfortable B&B placed in the hearth of Florence, placed 10 minutes away from Santa Maria Novella station and from Fortezza da Basso base of Pitti Image, its position is within walk distance to the most beautiful museum and monument in Florence. The B&B offers 3 nice rooms carefully furnished, with individual air conditioning, TV with satellite antenna and wi-fi system, All the bedrooms have their own bathroom with a big shower space and hair drier. In the room you will find an electrical teapot with a choice between coffee, tea and infusion to that you can prepare yourself your hot drinks. The completely renewed flat equipped with a lift, has also common spaces and one of the bedrooms is adapted for handicap person. Breakfast included served at caffetteria

From Santa Maria Novella Station (km 0,5) By foot: you must walk along Via Nazionale, turn right into Piazza Indipendenza and take Via XXVII Aprile. After a few meters you will find the B&B. By bus: take the ATAF lines n° 31 or 32 (Direction Antella), or n° 7 (Direction Fiesole), or n° 25A (Direction S. Bartolo), or n° 10 and get out in via XXVII Aprile. «Amerigo Vespucci» Airport (km 5) Quick shuttle « Vola in bus » to Santa Maria Novella Station. Departure every half an hour frm 6.00 am to 8.30 pm. Every hour from 8.30 pm to 11.30 pm. A1 Highway exit called Firenze Sud (km 4): Follow the signs to the Centro. Going on the peripherical boulevards follow the signs to Piazza della Libertà. Keeping the right you will find Via Lorenzo il Magnifico: take it. At the traffic lights turn left into Via Poliziano. Then go straight on passing the traffic lights, cross a large avenue and enter Via S. Caterina d’Alessandria. Highway exit called Firenze Nord (km 5): Follow the signs to the Centro- Fortezza da Basso; When you reach Fortezza da Basso, take Viale Lavagnini; At the first traffic lights turn right into Via S Caterina d’Alessandria. In both cases 50 metres further turn left into Via delle Ruote. Cross Via Santa Reparata and turn right. When you find via XXVII Aprile turn right. After 100 metres on your left you will find the B&B.

    Very centrally located about 10 mins walk from Santa Maria Novella station. We only stayed for 1 night - 1 double room and one larger room with an extra sofa bed for our three year old. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, kettle was a real bonus as was the fridge in the larger room. Bathrooms well-appointed, although the sink was on the small side. Nice LCD TV with BBC World, Euronews. Rooms also had heating & aircon.
    The owner was very helpful, allowing us an early check-in and happy to provide information.
    Our room was facing the street, and as we were quite central it wasn't quiet, not helped by the original shutters and single glazed window, but this adds charachter and it really wasn't a problem for us. My parents were in the double room facing away from the street which was much quieter.
    The price is really good for the location and we would certainly stay here again. Much nicer than a soul-less chain hotel.

    The room was small but well kept. Bathroom clean with nice powerful shower. The owner was friendly, polite and helpful. We brought our own breakfast since this is not provided, however a kettle with a range of teas and coffees is provided.
    The main trouble is the busy main road, our room faced the road. All through the night there was lots of loud noise, shouting, traffic, ambulances, sound of smashing bottles and this was most disconcerting. Despite having the windows and shutters closed, the sound penetrated so loud, it was as though there was no glass in the windows.
    On the plus side, it is a conveniently located to the train station so would only stay again if the room was not road facing.

    This is a great find! Gianna is really nice and helpful. The room is nice, clean and simple (just as described.) It seems to have been recently redecorated - the bathroom looks brand new.
