. The penthouse was very roomy and clean. There were five of us staying in the suite and thus the cost was very economic.
The hotel was in an area that unless you needed to be in Newham was out of the way. We were there for business thus I thought the advertisement of its location was not really accurate.
We had to call down to get a bed made up which on the checking in form said it was made up but wasn't. This delayed us in getting to our dinner meeting.
We then did not have any hot water the next day. Thus no showers, etc. This caused real problems as we were going to a business function.
We were told the whole building was out of hot water and it would not be fixed in time for our check out. I asked for a complaint form but was told they did not have one.

Gorgeous apartment, absolutely huge, fully furnished, this place is a real home-from-home. Our only concern was the distance - Stratford is a long way out of the city centre, about 25 mins by tube but nearly an hour by car - not for those who want to be near nightlife etc.

hotel was easy to get to but apartment very misleading as in the description on the marlin apartment website it never said anything about a train going by every 2 seconds next to your window so very hard to watch t.v relax and most of all get sleep .windows were dirty .i was not happy at all about my stay and im not a picky person but the train going by the window was really dissapointing
