Winford Manor Hotel is within 5 minutes of Bristol International Airport and a 30 minute drive from the historic cities of Bristol and Bath. Dating back to the 17th century, Winford Manor has 22 rooms, set in 6 acres of beautiful parkland. The rooms have been sympathetically renovated, mixing modern contemporary, with charm and character. All rooms have en suite facilities, with two rooms being further adapted for wheelchair access and are fully equipped with accessible wet rooms. All rooms have been fitted to the highest standards and include tea & coffee making facilities, digital TV and broadband access. All prices include complimentary continental breakfast and free airport transfer. Parking is free of charge while resident in the hotel. At Winford Manor, our aim is to provide a friendly home from home environment to suit every budget that is complimented by a friendly, professional service.

Winford Manor is in the Village of Winford, just south of Bristol. From Bristol Airport, turn left at the roundabout onto the A38. Take the next right onto West Lane (signposted Felton, Winford, Chew Magna). Follow the road for about 1 mile and turn right onto Old Hill. Follow the road and take the right hand fork and you will see Winford Manor in front of you. From the M5, leave at Exit 22 and follow signs for A38 toward Weston Super Mare, Burnham on Sea & Bristol (South)/Airport. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Bristol Road (A38). Take the next right onto Felton Lane (signposted Felton, Winford, Chew Magna). Follow the road for about 1 mile and turn right onto Old Hill. Follow the road and take the right hand fork and you will see Winford Manor in front of you. From the M4, leave the M4 at junction 19, then join the M32 motorway (signposted Kingswood, Filton, Ring Road, A4174, Bristol, Fishponds, Horfield) M32, Jct 2 M32 Continue forward onto the A4032 (signposted City Centre) A4032 forward onto the A4044 (signposted Bath, Easton) A4044 roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A4.Turn right onto the A370. At Bedminster Bridge Roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A38 (signposted Bedminster). Turn right onto the A38 (signposted Bristol Airport). Turn left onto the A38 (signposted Taunton). Turn left onto the A38 (one-way). Bear right onto the A38 (one-way) Bear left onto the A38 (signposted Taunton). At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A38. Pass the sign for Winford and take the next left signed Felton onto Newton Lane. Follow on to Currells Lane, then Upper Town Lane. At crossroads, straight over onto Old Hill. Follow the road and take the right hand fork and you will see Winford Manor in front of you. From Bristol, follow as from M32. Friendly and efficient, good for overnight and ideal as an airport stopover. Very quiet and peaceful, a bit far from Bristol or Bath for a shopping base but would be good as a summer base for the area.

I am only too sorry that it was quite a distance from the offices that I was visiting. I am tempted to use this hotel again even though I have an extra hour to travel to my place of work. The hotel is set in its own grounds which was a true escape from the hustle and bustle of a busy working day. The hotel staff were so accommodating and the food was excellent.

From one direction this hotel is approached on a single track road that just keeps on getting narrower!! The hotel does eventually appear but satnavers beware. The hotels around Bristol are expensive but this one was reasonable value and not far from town. The rooms are quite new and they have big plans for the old manor in the future. The staff are first rate and very welcoming. The bar is bottles only but stocked with some excellent local brews! The food is freshly prepared typical bar meal fare but very tasty and nicely presented. Good for business travellers and I'd recommend it.

Stupidly expensive sandwitch but otherwise fine. Leave your car, airport transfer service worked well.

The hotel didn't have a restaurant which was a problem as I didn't have a car but they did serve excellent snack food i.e. burger and chips.
