All our rooms are comfortable and tastefully furnished. One of our double rooms (plus a single bed) is situated on the ground floor with ensuite facilities. All our rooms are equipped with a colour television and hospitality trays.
We have private parking for our guests (limited to 4 spaces although there is further parking close by). We serve a full English breakfast every morning but we can cater for different tastes if requested. Vegetarian options are always available. Wi-fi is also available.
We do our best to make sure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. We can offer advice on where to go and what to see. We keep up to date information on events, attractions, services, where to eat and historical places of interest so you should find something of interest to you and all your family and friends.

Directions to Prospect Villa B&B

From the North, take the A171 out of Guisbrough, and follow the signs to Whitby. Keep following the road all the way, folliowing the signs for the town centre. From the South, West and South West, follow the A64 from York, then take the A169 from Malton, through Pickering and then across the North Yorkshire Moors, with stunning panoramic views. Stay on the 169 all the way down Blue Bank, through Sleights, and up the other side of the valley to a roundabout connecting you with the A171. Turn right, and follow the signs to the town centre. From the South East (the East UK coast), follow the A171 coast road North from Scarborough. Stay on the road all the way into Whitby. Once in Whitby follow the signs to the town centre. At the fist set of traffic lights (from all routes into Whitby) bear left and Prospect Villa is situated on your right directly after the lights. If you are travelling by train or bus both stations are a short walk from the B&B, we would be happy to collect you if you ring and arrange this with us prior to your arrival.

room service nil i.e. no beds made,no room cleaned. no clean cups on hospitality tray.,or replenishment of coffee ,milk etc waste bin not emptied. it would be advisable to inform clients that there are many stairs to climb to some of the bedrooms.

Hotel was very good, couldn't fault it. Terrible weather whilst we were in Whitby, but it was no bother to the very friendly owners. Called a taxi for us, and lent us some umbrella's. The breakfast was very good, plenty of it, cooked fresh. If people haven't come down for breakfast by 9am, then those still present can have extras, rather than it being thrown out !! Would definitely consider returning in the future.
