The Avogaria Locanda & Restaurant is a incomparable high-quality and luxury accommodation in the center of the charming and world-famous art city of Venice. The little property was created in 2002 by Francesco, architect and his sister Antonella Pugliese, chef.
The concept is to have clients experience different sensorial levels all at once: scents, savors, spaces, design and music.
This Dorsoduro Ovest hotel shows refined simplicity and elegance, comfort and Mediterranean tastes, luxury and wellbeing. These, are the little things that indeed make life worth living.
The Avogaria Locanda & Restaurant only features three guest rooms, two of theme have an incomparable private court-garden that show the "secret" and romantic Venice. Avogaria provides even more tranquility than one can usually find in Venice. The restaurant is an added value, a tiny, warm and welcoming corner where guests can enjoy the delicacies prepared by the professional hands of the chef.

By car From the motorway, after passing the barrier, follow the signs for Venice. After arriving in Venice, park your car in one of the Tronchetto parking areas (on the right, after the long Ponte della Libertà) or Piazzale Roma, the car terminal. Take the ACTV line 2 boat for Giudecca and get off at the San Basilio landing station. The Locanda Avogaria is just 2 minutes from here. Continue on foot along Calle Del Vento (in front of the landing station), go through San Basegio square, follow the street, the second Calle on the right is Calle dell'Avogaria. The Locanda Avogaria is at number 1629 of Calle dell'Avogaria. By train From Santa Lucia railway station: after exiting the station, take ACTV line 2 boat for Giudecca and get off at the San Basilio landing station. Continue on foot along Calle Del Vento (in front of the landing station), go through San Basegio square, follow the street, the second Calle on the right is Calle dell'Avogaria. The Locanda Avogaria is at number 1629 of Calle dell'Avogaria. By airplane From Marco Polo Airport (13 km): The ATVO shuttle or the ACTV line 5 bus from the airport will take you to Piazzale Roma, the Venice car terminal. Then, take the ACTV line 2 boat for Giudecca and get off at the San Basilio landing station. The Locanda Avogaria is just 2 minutes from here. Continue on foot along Calle Del Vento (in front of the landing station), go through San Basegio square, follow the street, the second Calle on the right is Calle dell'Avogaria. The Locanda Avogaria is at number 1629 of Calle dell'Avogaria. From San Giuseppe Treviso Airport (30 km): take the EUROBUS-ATVO shuttle to Venice. After reaching Piazzale Roma, the Venice car terminal, continue as above.

    Hotel de charme à l'emplacement idéal. Accueil très agréable, chambre confortable et calme, décorée avec goût. L'endroit idéal pour séjourner à Venise.

    Quite simply, a friendly, efficient hotel. The rooms were tasteful, the food even tastier! I would recommend the hotel to anybody.

    This is a wonderful little treasure of a hotel - well away from the bustle that is the tourist area around St Mark's Square and the Rialto but only two minutes walk to a Vaporetto station that will quickly take you to where the action is. The staff were very friendly, the design of the rooms and the attached restaurant exquisite. If you are tired of the usual chains but are reluctant to take a gamble on an unknown hotel - trust me, try the Avogaria.

    Outstanding customer service, staff could not be more helpful. Enjoyed a stunning room with beautiful garden. Great location - less touristy than near San Marco square yet close to the ferry stop making all sights accessible and also only a short walk from Campo Santa Margarita (lively piazza with many cafes/bars).
    The restaurant serves great food in modern stylish surroundings. And all the soft drinks in the mini bar were free!!
    Would definately stay here again
