We stayed at ths friendly and well run little hotel for just one night as weary travellers en route to further destinations on a very hot day in July. The reception we received was friendly courteous and considerate (2 very cold glasses of juice apperared immediately from the host who recognised our need for cooling down), the room was clean, comfortable and well appointed if a little small for two adults and a load of biking gear (didn't see other rooms), the breakfast menu was a typical including a 'full english' which was served freshly cooked to perfection, the location excellent for a quick walking visit to the town centre and the sea front and a good nights sleep! Well recommended. |

This hotel was a really nice find, with pleasant and helpful staff. The rooms were modern and very smart. There was not a lot of space in the room as they are quite compact but is fine if you are just staying a couple of nights. Breakfast was good quality and the living and dining room again were very smart in appearance and comfortable. The hotel does have a limited number (3-4) car parking spaces outside but you may have to rely on street parking. The hotel is probably a brisk 30 minute walk from the centre of torquay but a taxi only costs about £5.00. |
