I had quite high expectations about this hotel, because I saw the reviews on Laterooms.
I ordered a double room, but got a single room!!!!!!
Arrived at 1am so I did not want to go back to reception to change it. Next morning I went to point out the mistake and asked for a reduced price. They did not want to give me anything. I tried several times. I should have gone back in the middle of the night to complain they said........ I called Laterooms and they agreed with me that it was not OK and I should have some kind of compensations. They called the hotel, but not even Laterooms could get them to change their decision. This might be the worst service I ever had in a hotel.
The room was not cleaned either. Flakes of something unknown was all over the carpet. The sink was really dirty and they even did not clean the inside of the toilet - and that was very visible....... In general there was a lot of dust all over and cobs on walls/ceiling. I took some great pics for my scrapbook.... I will not forget this place for some time.
The surroundings and the building are really great, but next time I am staying another place.

a work trip and i stayed for 2 nights... the service was magnificent, nothing was too much trouble (including posting my belt back to me immediately when i left it behind in my room! (thank you for this!). The whole area was lovely and the food was absolutely wonderful... a great treat on a hot sunny working trip.

I would stay at this hotel again even more if they had air conditioning in or offered fans as the rooms were very hot, even with the windows open, apart from that it was lovely
