Southwood House is conveniently situated between the historic Port of Bristol (8 miles) and the Roman City of Bath (5 miles) - a place where tired travellers can lay down their weary heads and enjoy relaxing countryside surroundings. With easy reach of the M4 Motorway (Junction 18)approx 6 miles. All rooms are en-suite (with either 1 twin room/double and 1 Double room in the main house and one double room in the converted barn adjacent to the property). Apartments available for a minimum two night stay and includes separate power shower & bath, fully equipped kitchen and lounge area with widescreen television and DVD player. Apartment also contains colour TV, tea making facilities and broadband Wi-Fi Internet access. A delicious full English breakfast is cooked using only local, organically sourced produce.

We stayed in the renovated barn which had a lovely bedroom,bathroom,kitchen and sitting room.Very understated within advert and was pleasently suprised on arrival.Only negative was it was a tad cold.Sure this could have been rectified as fitted with radiators and electric storage heater but due to 1 night stay we didn,t have time to get to grips with operating for full effect.More info of quick warm up would have been helpful.Neverless extremely pleased.
