The Fame is situated on Blackpools Famous Golden Mile , The Hotel is between South and Central piers , Directly opposite the Hotel are Tram and Bus stops for easy access to the town centre , Visit the new shopping centre at Houndshill or venture further out to Cleveleys or Fleetwood , go the opposite way and you come to the Pleasure Beach the home of the white knuckle rides ,,,,,,,,,,,, During the Illuminations period August / November why not ride the lights in a tram then Horse and Carriage ride back to the Hotel , Our 15 room Hotel has all the comforts of home , all rooms en-suite, centrally heated , tea/coffee facilities, has a licensed residents only well stocked bar , After a hard day in either the town shopping or frightning yourself on the Pleasure Beach why not relax in our Sun Lounge overlooking the Irish sea and watch the world go by . [ We do not accept Stag or Hen parties.] Families and Couples only , Breakfast is on a self served buffet style and we cater for most tastes ,

Both my Husband and I found this hotel well placed on the promenade and handy for all the amentities. Barry and Leslie are very friendly and nothing is a bother to them. The fact that this is a small family hotel with parking space is good when holidaying in Blackpool. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. Full marks for cleanliness, good food and congeniality.

The hotel was ok for the price but it certainly wasn't as nice as it looked on the photos. Our room view instead of being a wonderful seafront view was the wall of the hotel beside us.
The owners were friendly enough and the place was clean.

People were quite friendly, the family room is very small and the beds were very uncomfortable, didn't feel we had value for our money
