Just a 20-minute taxi ride from the airport, the complex captivates the visitors with its privileged setting. Perfectly situated on the beach front, the complex curves in a semi circle around a salt-water lagoon with a private golden sand beach and its own private island. Without any roads to cross, one can also access the public beaches and a Beach Promenade that winds for many kilometres along the coast. The exuberant centre of Costa Teguise, with its fashionable stores, restaurants, bars and craft market is only minutes of walk away on the Beach Promenade.
The 368 apartments of the resort are either situated in one of the 6 village-like atmosphere plazas each built around their own swimming and paddling pool or directly facing the ocean. Each apartment has its own terrace complete with sun bed, umbrella and furniture to enjoy the sunny weather and the magnificent views

Directions to Sands Beach Resort

By Car (from Lanzarote’s Arrecife Airport) The Resort is approximately 15 km from the Airport. Head towards Arrecife and keep on the dual carriageway for about 3 km. Keep on the left lane and follow the signs for Circunvalacion. Then take the left turn, following signs for Lanzarote Oeste / Norte. Stay on this road and take the 3rd left to Costa Teguise. Once on the dual carriageway towards the town of Costa Teguise, pass the Barceló Lanzarote on the right and the Hotel Playa Hotel (also on the right). Then go straight across the small roundabout, and just after the roundabout, take the right fork. Across the next roundabout, take the first left, signposted Hotel Gran Melia Salinas, and continue on this road for approx 1 km until you see the Sands Beach Resort on the right.

    Very family orientated.
    We had disabled member of our party - Costa Teguise is very flat so resort very suitable.
    Salt water lagoon looked filthy, but not sure how they could clean it.
