What can i say .NI tourist Board have got it wrong this guest house is way in front of many like it in NI as well as in England & scotland This place is a min of 3* and need's to be corrected ASAP . on opening the main door you find your self in a strange place which finds you looking to see if you have the right guest house . everything is perfect and a fresh clean smell that follows you all over the building . The reception area has a small bar and rest area which sit on pollished dark wooden floors with a view of the harbor out of the front bay window , There is a smoking area out the back which leads to a small enclosed patio style garden with hanging baskets and plants in pots a nice place to sit in the evening or you could enjoy the seating area out front over looking the harbour. There is a lift to all floors & what a lift cleen fresh no sign of toilet ues in this one unlike so many i have used over the years . The lift door opens onto a small bright landing again with a fresh clean smell to the right is a stair case cream carpet covers the staits & landing . On opening the door to my room i was amazed at what i saw a full size bed four pillows . Tea & coffe .plenty of room and again that fresh clean lemon smell the bathroom and shower was at a standard i would expect to fing at 4/5*hotels . |

Friendly owners made my short stay pleasent, the hotel room faced onto roofs of adjacent properties as it was at the rear of the hotel but it was en suite with tea & coffee facility provided, although I booked a single, the room contained a double bed that somewhat restricted movement around the room, however the room was decorated to a very high standard and this was reflected throughout the hotel, location is perfect close to marina and promenade. a nice place to stay for the more discerning traveller. |
