Hotel de Prony Paris

This restraunt was in a god spot and pretty good value for money. Nice rooms at a good size.

Room & bathroom very small but adequate. Difficult to find as no address given. It is No 103 Rue de Prony but the front door is on Avenue De Villiers. Parking costs 20 euros per night.

This was a lovely hotel. Extremely convenient. Metro just around the corner, buses too. Lots of bars and restaurant on the doorsteps.
Lots of hot water, very clean. We didn't take breakfast here but I'm sure it would have been just as good as everything else.

This is the kind of hotel I wish I could have found years ago. It is affordable, yet doesn't compromise on style. I have stayed at inexpensive hotels in Paris and found their decor very bland. Hotel de Prony is a big step up from the others in every way. It is only steps from a metro station, which is hugely convenient. The customer service was charming. And, even though I had not planned on spending much time at my hotel, Hotel de Prony was a pleasure to come back to. The windows were old fashioned, with drapes and lace curtiains, the doors were old and substantial with a real key to open and lock, the desk in the room was an antique (not a generic hotel piece of furniture), the bed was well dressed and comfortable. The room was small, but adequate and attractive - and I cannot think how a visitor could ask for anything more for the price. If possible, I will always try to book a room here as my first choice.
