Kame Hall Luxury Rooms

In Piazza Mattei in the heart of ancient Rome, in a meticulously refurbished building dating back to the 1600's, Kame Hall is born.
Our name is inspired by the splendid Fontana delle Tartarughe (Tutle Fountain) which faces our Luxury Rooms as well as by a passion for oriental culture.
The term "kame" in fact comes from Japanese and means "turtle". These turtles are not only the most particular characteristic of the square but also a symbol of joy and beauty for cultures the world over.
It is this philosophy that suggested us to create this elegant oasis for the stay of anyone that wants to share with us in the joy of living the atmosphere of the "Eternal city" Rome while staying in a comfortable relaxed setting away from the hectic environment that characterizes many hotels.

    We booked this accom via the internet and very pleased with our choice. Excellent location and despite arriving late in the evening (and not providing confirmation of our arrival time), our key was left in a secure place for collection. The room was of an excellent standard - very spacious and clean. The bathroom was perfect! The view was ok, we were on the edge of the building - but could easily see the 200 year old fountain from the window. It was quiet at night - but only 10 mins away for the local square buzzing with entertainment. The breakfast was ample - coffee, juice, toast and croissant! The reception/cleaner was very friendly and arranged our deparure taxi, aswell as giving us the low down on places to go (how to get there etc). It was value for money and I would certainly recommend. An enjoyable stay and Rome was awesome. Let's hope my euro in the fountain will ensure I make a return visit!

    Lovely place to stay. Fantastic location in the heart of the city, the best sights - colosseum, vatican, pantheon etc all as close as they could be. Lovely room, gorgeous bathroom, comfy bed. Haven't slept so well in ages, hope the staff didn't mind our late waking up hours.
