Very friendly hotel and regulars to the bar. Comfortable beds, and great food. I had a thoroughly pleasant stay. |

Perfectly adequate hotel, if nothing special. The decor was a bit eccentric, but the food was good (cooked breakfast is extra to the room rate though). Could make more of the fact that they are brilliantly located for the Coalbrookdale museums. |

We thought the hotel was wonderful, the hosts were very friendly and made you feel special. The restaurant was top class, the food was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and we would recommend it to anybody visiting Shropshire. |

The owner and staff and customers were very friendly and the service fantastic the food was very good and not silly priced but the one thing that let the hotel down was the bed, it was not very comfortable. |

Check in was rather hurried, despite us arriving at 15:00. We were practically thrown into our room, with the check-in so rushed that the landlady had to come back to give us the key for the outside door she'd forgotten to give us. The room was small, but adequate for our needs for a one night stay. There was one power socket, shared between the kettle, the TV and the alarm clock - so no chance of a morning cuppa to the TV news then.. |
