Joben is a small, family-run Bed and Breakfast with a charming decor and an inviting atmosphere. A simple 5 minute walk takes you to the bustling heart of the town centre where you can find a multitude of bars, restaurants, shops and cafes. We are also within close proximity of the Captain Cooks Statue, the whale bones and the beach. Rooms are freshly decorated proffering every modern comfort (including hair dryer, iron and alarm clock). Whitby offers a number of themed weekends including gothic weekends, folk weekends, 60’ and 70’s weekends and so much more!

A very warm welcome from the friendly proprietor. An excellent breakfast and some nice extras like bananas as well as biscuits in the room, but it was inconvenient not to have bedside lights.

Excellent all rounder! We were made to feel very welcome, we would highly recommend this b&b to anyone. Central location, walking distance to town centre and beach, family friendly and 10/10 for breakfast.

Had a lovely break despite the weather. Only problem I would say was lack of parking spaces, otherwise very friendly and close to all amenities. Would reccommend this to friends.

We stayed at the hotel 15-17 June This guest house was by far the best we had ever stayed . The room was clean and modern Gill was the perfect hostess Toiletries had been provided even a toothbrush A basket containing fruit and biscuits were placed into our room this lady had thought of everything. The ammount of choices of juices and cereals along with yogurtsand then a full english.We'll be backand have recommended Joben guest house to friends
