The Stuart House Hotel commands one of the most scenic locations in Scarborough, superbly placed with magnificent sea views across beautiful North Bay and North Yorkshire Coast. The hotel is small and family run, offering guests the warmest of welcomes and the highest standards of service. We have received the prestigious ETC 4 star accommodation rating for quality. Each room offers tea and coffee facilities, TV and central heating. We have a choice of single, twin, double and family rooms, the largest sleeping 6 people. All except one single are en suite. We welcome families and group bookings are our speciality. For the comfort of other guests all our bedrooms are non-smoking, and unfortunately we do not allow pets. We are open all year round. Stuart house is only 5 minutes walk from the town centre and beaches. Other attractions are within easy walking distance including Alexandra Bowling Centre, Peasholm Park, Sea Life Centre, Scarborough’s famous Castle and South Bay Harbour and Funfair. Guests can relax and enjoy a quiet drink in our cosy bar, or alternatively relax in our spacious TV lounge. Start your day with one of our unforgettable full English breakfast in our comfortable and airy dining room. We take care to cater for special diets.

Had a great stay, arrived very early on the day approx 10:45, we were given a parking pass to enable us to park out front and told that our room would be available within an hour which I thought was good service considering the time we arrived. The room was very clean and had a view of the North Bay, breakfast was cooked to order and was perfect, Andy was excellent as front of the house proprietor made evryone feel very welcome, we will definately book again when we visit Scarborough next time

The hotel was clean and well presented and only a short walk from the centre, with an excellent view of the seafront. The hosts were courteous and very helpful and created an warm and welcoming atmosphere. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Scarborough and we will certainly stay there agin next time we visit.
