    Select Hotel was excellent value , own parking was good and rooms were more spacious than we have come accustomed to in teh region.. A little more difficult to find than we first supected from the directions given but more time studying them may have helped and once found was well worth it. Staff were great and pointed us towards good restaurants in the city and altogether could not be faulted , friendly and profesional. The hotel is a good 20-25 minutes from Ponte Vecchio but still a pleasant walk a;long the river. Small square nearby has buses to centre or towards San Lorenzo market which was a gem. In fact Florence is magic and this hotel helped make our visit.

    A lovely old style hotel in a nice quiet area of Florence, about 20 mins walk from the centre. This was an excellent place to stay when sightseeing in Florence. The carpark rates are expensive, but there is free on street parking, so don't be fooled!
