This hotel was a surprise! From the Late Rooms pictures it looked just the thing but when we pulled up outside it looked like anyother village pub - quite bland and unremarkable. The landlord was very welcoming and the room was really superb - you wouldn't have guessed it would be like that from the outside. |

Rooms still sparkly new so very good, clean and modern. Shower was electric and so doesn't have much power (our room didn't have a bath but 2 of the rooms have bath and no shower I think). Restaurant food okay in the evening. Breakfast good. |

The staff were incredibly helpful and very friendly. It was so relaxing just to be able to go downstairs, have a drink and some dinner, without having to move very far! |
