there is no esuite and we were prepared to share bathrooms. but the toilets were very dirty and the facilities are extremely basic. the showers flooded when e turned them on and smelled of sewage. there was black mould up the walls of the shower room. in the end we did no shower. it was disgusting. |

I imagine that this place would be perfect for stag nights. I was working. Not at all impressed. An hour after ordering breakfast i got bored and left for work, after calling laterooms I did get a nominal refund for the value of the breakfast though. There was a tv in my room but after some complex contortionism (ariel in hand) i got bored of trying to get more than one channel. It's a hole but it's cheap and the few members of staff that i saw who had a working level of spoken English were (if not entirely competent) certainly keen to try and help. |

Rooms are very basic, but cheap'n'cheerful. Breakfast was decent, but only served between 7 and 8. Water in the cold taps was lukewarm! No loo-roll in the (shared) toilets. Fire alarm went off (false alarm) at both 6:30am and 7:30am :-( meaning I was tired for the whole of the next day. |

The hotel is grotty, the rooms are tiny, and the whole place has the air of a bail hostel. Saying that, it's cheap and it's on a bus route. You get what you pay for. Just don't expect to pop out for a pint or a nice meal nearby - the area isn't one of Newcastle's most salubrious. |
