Directions to Apsley House Hotel
Directions from the M4 Motorway are as follows: Leave the M4 at Junction 18 and following the Bath sign at the motorway junction roundabout. At the next roundabout, approx 4 miles, take the 3rd exit signposted to Bristol and follow this for about half a mile and take the 1st left signposted Park & Ride. Follow the road to the end where it joins another main road at a T junction and take the left turn going up the hill signposted Bath 5 miles. Go past the race course (on your right) and almost immediately after the pub (the Blathwayt) on your right take the next right signposted Landsdown Lane. Follow the road down into Weston and bear left at the mini roundabout, continue past the Royal United Hospital on your right to the mini roundabout opposite Weston Methodist Church. Turn right onto Newbridge Hill and we are about 400 yards on the left. If you do take a wrong turn or are in doubt follow signs for the RUH (Royal United Hospital) up until the last mini roundabout by the Weston Methodist Church/New Crown Pub and at this point go straight ahead on the A431 Bitton Road (not to the hospital at this point) and we are about 400 yards on the left - a burgundy oval sign 'Apsley House Hotel'. If you would like a map you could either visit our website at www.apsley-house.co.uk or www.streetmap.co.uk and enter our post-code of BA1 3PT and print off an exact location.

I could not fault the hotel. The choice on the menu at breakfast was excellent and the hotel had a nice friendly atmosphere. My room was very comfortable and I would definitely stay there again. |

Very warm welcome and friendly service throughout our stay (incl. sending on something we left behind!). Comfortable room with lovely view and excellent cooked breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend this hotel. It is a comfortable walk into the city centre (go via the Crescent) but suggest you take car in or get taxi in the evening. We will be back for our Xmas shopping trip! |
