The award-winning Stretton Hotel occupies a most convenient position on Blackpool promenade, close to North Pier and North Railway Station, facing the sea and overlooking Princess Parade and the sunken gardens. The town centre, shops and all central entertainment are within just two minutes walk. The hotel is open all year round, with a special programme for Christmas and New please ask at Reception for more details. To avoid disappointment, may we suggest that accomodation should be booked early. please note car parking is on a first come basis, All rooms are non-smoking but we do have a covered area for smokers. The staff were all very efficient and friendly. The hotel was very clean - my room even being cleaned while I was at breakfast. The room itself was fine, the only problem being that, as a large person, I could get into the shower, the rigid door being too narrow. I stayed in the "off-season" in late November when the room was only £35/night, which was great value for money. The breakfasts were varied and very good, as was the evening meal, even though restricted in choice, it was good quality, served very hot and very quiickly. I would recommend this hotel - and even at "full price" I would still say is value for money

I wanted somewhere cheap and cheerful for 1 night, it was basic but thats all I needed, it was clean and lovely and warm. I have been in a lot worse places and paid a lot more for less. Thanks to the Stretton.

We had a fabulous weekend at the stretton hotel,we had a lovely quiet room,the staff where very friendly and helpful,nothing was too much trouble for them and the housekeeping staff do a great job.Food was great and well presented.We met some very nice people whilst we where there and enjoyed good company.We are definately going back.Well done to all at the Stretton Hotel

We visited the Stretton Hotel on a one night family break, hotel staff were friendly and we were made very welcome on arrival. Breakfast was lovely plenty of choice but ensure that if you want to eat at the hotel for your evening meal that you book with reception before 2pm or when you check in as we were not advise of this and could not eat at the hotel on the night of our arrival as it was fully booked. Overall our stay at this hotel was pleasant and we would return.
