pleasant hotel but extra money certainly does not buy 'executive' quality room. small and serviceable bedroom; bathroom needs updating. goodness what size room you get if you don't upgrade. room very much along lines of reasonable premier inn rather than boutique hotel. advertised 24 hour snacks/fruit/drinks. bottled water in fridge but little 'snacks' - mostly empty plates. staff helpful and polite. breakfast excellent quality. but no food available on saturday night? several guests complaining. too expensive for location and facilities.
