Directions to The View

Leaving Faro airport, follow the signs to Faro. Drive past the car hire company depots and continue along this road until you come to a flyover. Drive across the flyover and follow the signs for Portimão. You will join a dual carriageway and need to follow the blue signs for the A22 motorway. Keep in the left hand lane, following the A22 in the direction of Lisbon, Albufeira and Portimão. After approximately 2km, keep right and take the slip road sign-posted Lisboa, Loulé, Portimão (motorway). You are now on the A22 heading west in the direction of Portimão. Stay on the A22 until you reach junction 1 - the second and most westerly Lagos exit (DO NOT take the Lagos Este and Odeáxere exit). Take the exit, follow the road and at the second roundabout turn right, following the signs for Vila do Bispo/Sagres. You will now be on the EN 125 road. After about 15km you will come to the village of Budens and you will see the supermarket ‘Ecomarché’ on your right. Approx 400m after this, you will reach a set of traffic lights, (where you will see to your right ‘Parque da Floresta Golf & Leisure Resort’) - turn LEFT at the lights towards Figueira - proceed straight ahead - do not be tempted to take the turning left to Salema. Follow this road for approximately 1km, where you will see a sign directing you left to Salema. Turn left and after approx 1km you will see another signpost for Salema. Turn right at the first available road (ignore dirt tracks and apartment block entrance). Proceed straight ahead. At the stop sign, turn right. Follow this road around, passing a small block of blue and white houses on your left. Continue up the hill until you reach the end of the road where you will see the signs for The View. Turn right. You are now entering the resort and the reception is on your right hand side.
