This was more like a stay in a genteel house party rather than a B&B which was what we loved about it. |

Lovely building and well run in a great bit of town. The rooms were all good but two of them are really superb so get in to one of these if you can. |

Room was huge but decor needed updating. Very friendly service. Breakfast was epic - had nothing to eat for the rest of the day. Location perfect - quiet but within easy walikng distance of centre. |

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Georgian Residence. Our hosts, Florence and Jim looked after us very well. We certainly got fit climbing the 74 stairs to our room on the top floor - but it was all worth it for the view over Edinburgh. We also met some other very interesting guests including a Russian woman, a New Zealand couple and their baby, and two American women - all staying at the Residence. |
