No hesitation in recommending hotel. Would advise you study the directions on the website as it is off the beaten track but the setting is stunning. The staff are helpful and friendly-no problems when we asked to change rooms for one with a view-try and get one to enjoy the view. Top floor rooms had no wifi but our room [15]was a good size with a large bathroom and a huge bed. You could lose you partner in it so take some ropes! Spa facilities a little disappointing with a small pool and basic changing facilities. The treatments offered are extensive and expensive (a male view!)but the staff great. Quality and choice of dishes at dinner and breakfast were excellent. |

Beautiful setting and views from conservatory (where breakfast is served) and spa. Swimming pool and sauna were empty. Breakfast very fresh and beautifully cooked. Would have appreciated indicating where breakfast was and times and leisure facilities at time of check in. Very nice Gilchrist and Soames toiletries and towelling robes, slippers and mineral water in rooms. Useful to have safe in room although was just stacked on wood in wardrobe and not fastened to wall. Not set up for pushchairs, although understand they have family rooms. Very enjoyable stay |

This hotel definitely deserves more than its current 3*star status. Our stay was absolutely amazing. The hotel was perfect for a romantic getaway. I'm already looking when I can boom again!!! |

Excellent views from the Orangerie. Food was pretty good, and there was a varied winelist. Fleurie very reasonable. Room lacked a few little things (eg. coat hooks) and a maintenance man should visit with his mastic gun ! We were 'upgraded' to a Mews room (though I really wanted a King Size bed !) which had a kitchen and living area, but no crockery or cutlery !! Very nice place though. |

This was a lovely hotel in an absolutely gorgeous location. Pool and sauna were small but good. Food in restaurant was good too. We had a king room, and not sure how this compared to standard rooms, and whether it was worth the extra. We really enjoyed our stay - definite winner for a romantic peaceful getaway. You might find somewhere as good for less money, but if you don't fancy the gamble, you get what you pay for here. |
