This traditional hotel maintains most of its original architecture. The hotel stands in a prime position, within walking distance of all major stores and the Bullring shopping centre. From M6: Junction 6, follow City Centre signs, follow signs to New Street Train Station then take second left into New Street, Britannia Hotel is located 150 yards on the right hand side. For the NCP car park continue down New Street follow one way system to the left at Traffic Lights, NCP is 100 yards on the left hand side. By Rail alight at Birmingham New Street take escalator to Pallasades shopping centre turn left at the top, continue through the shopping centre, down the Ramp past Mcdonalds and Hotel is 20 yards on your right.

This is the 3rd worst hotel I have ever stayed in! took an hour and a half to get checked in and the guy behind the counter was rude and abnoxious. This hotel feels like the kind of place people pay for by the hour. Terrible

The location is a decent one but the hotel is very poor - They are going througha refurb of common areas and the bedroom floors were a mess and stank of paint. the rooms are very dated and old looking and the beds are old and sheets look like they date back to the 60's. They only floor that as nice was the bar area/dining floor..
