The hotelier was unaware that we were bringing our smal dog nd charged us £10 for this which was unexpected - but there was no place on the booking form to let the hotelier know except for ringing but doing this online is supposed to avoid that - but that is our only complaint the room was lovely |

Very friendly and helpful staff who could not do enough and were very attentive at all times. Room was clean, with modern bathroom, and room bed and fittings, including tv and Wi Fi. Plenty of car parking and close to the M6. Will definitely stay there again and have no hesitation in recommending to others. |

A friendly and welcoming small inn in the heart of Penkridge. Excellent size beamed bedroom, very tastefully furnished. We would certainly recommend it for anyone wanting to stop over on an M6 journey. |
