We had a short break on a wet weekend to see Lincoln about 9 miles away and we stayed here in this quiet country pub Saturday night. The room was great (best complimentary goodies and toiletries tray ever) and nice and quiet as well. There was a good choice of food and portions were enormous. The Batemans XB beer was good too ! Excellent value for money....miles cheaper than staying in Lincoln. |

Food was great, all home cooked. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Very kindly offered to keep the kitchen open for me in the evening so as I could have a late meal. There was some noise from the railway but not excessive. |
