The room was very good and the level of service was far better than expected. The desk staff went out of their way to help with local knowledge

Very good value for money. Local station is just a short walk away and Molins de Rei itself is an easy train journey away from the centre of Barcelona (Placa de Catalunya). Make sure you check the times of the return trains back in the evening however, as we had an hours wait for the next train. We are a family of four and the room was quite adequate for a two night break. Only niggle would be that the coffee machine is a little slow and it did have trouble keeping up with demand at breakfast.
