    We didn't have shampo and one of the tv's was not working at all

    Quite how this hotel gets 4 stars and such positive positive reviews I've no idea. Got given a room only to enter it and find it already occupied. Then got a second room to find a twin instead of a double, but no other choice. Room was in dire need of refurbishment, and seemed to have no noise insultation. What more you could hear the plumbing from surrounding rooms. OK in a Pensoa, but not what you expect from a '4*'

    To say that the staff are helpful is an understatement. From the front of house staff (who are multi-lingual and able to accomodate most European languages) to the kitchen staff who have the patience to continue serving those who arrive late for breakfast (us!!!!), everybody is pleasant and friendly. We used the hotel as a base to go travelling (including 310km each way to Lisboa!) and found it very useful. Only 12km from the airport (we did it in 62km after getting lost a few times!), it is a nice place to go sightseeing from and the staff are always eager to please when asking for their recommendations; and when they do recommend, you know you simply cannot go wrong. I am looking forward to returning here again and would definitely recommend it. With 3 car parks serving it, it's location from the airport, proximity to shopping centres as well as beaches make this an excellent base to travel from
