BY CAR Coming from North (MILANO/VENEZIA/BOLOGNA/FIRENZE & its AIRPORT) Driving around Firenze on Autostrada A1, leave it at FIRENZE CERTOSA exit, then take the 4 lane motorway Firenze-Siena towards SIENA (South). Getting to Siena, take the TANGENZIALE (ring road) and leave it at SIENA OVEST exit (3rd exit coming from Firenze). Then, follow the signs to STADIO (football stadium) and FORTEZZA (Fortress). Getting near the stadium, turn left on Viale Curtatone, and we are on the left side. -If you are coming from Pisa/Pisa Airport, take the 4 lane motorway Livorno-Firenze towards FIRENZE (East), and leave it at GINESTRA FIORENTINA exit. Then follow to CERBAIA and SAN CASCIANO, following the signs to “SIENA via SUPERSTRADA (motorway)”. In San Casciano, take the 4 lane motorway Firenze-Siena towards SIENA (South). Then follow the directions as above. Coming from South (GROSSETO/MAREMMA COAST/ARGENTARIO) In Grosseto, take the 4 lane motorway Grosseto-Siena towards SIENA (North). Getting to Siena, follow to TANGENZIALE (ring road) towards Firenze (North) and leave it at SIENA OVEST exit (2nd exit coming from Grosseto). Then follow the signs to STADIO (football stadium) and FORTEZZA (Fortress). Getting near the stadium, turn left on Viale Curtatone, and we are on the left side. Coming from South (ORVIETO/ROMA/FIUMICINO AIRPORT/NAPOLI) In Roma, take the Autostrada A1 towards FIRENZE (North). Leave it at VALDICHIANA exit, and take the 4 lane motorway towards SIENA. Getting to Siena, follow to TANGENZIALE (ring road) towards Firenze (North) and leave it at SIENA OVEST exit (3rd exit coming from Valdichiana). Then follow the signs to STADIO (football stadium) and FORTEZZA (Fortress). Getting near the stadium, turn left on Viale Curtatone, and we are on the left side. Coming from South (MONTALCINO/PIENZA/VAL D’ORCIA) Take the SS. 2 “Cassia” towards SIENA (North). Once you get in Siena, at the first traffic lights, turn LEFT towards PORTA SAN MARCO, then follow to STADIO (football stadium) and FORTEZZA (Fortress). Getting near the stadium, turn left on Viale Curtatone, and we are on the left side. Coming from East (PERUGIA/UMBRIA) Take the motorway Perugia-Bettolle towards VALDICHIANA/A1. Near Valdichiana follow to SIENA on the 4 lane motorway. Getting to Siena, follow to TANGENZIALE (ring road) towards Firenze (North) and leave it at SIENA OVEST exit (3rd exit coming from Valdichiana). Then follow the signs to STADIO (football stadium) and FORTEZZA (Fortress). Getting near the stadium, turn left on Viale Curtatone, and we are on the left side. -If you are coming from Arezzo, take the Autostrada A1 towards ROMA (South) and leave it at VALDICHIANA exit. Then, follow the directions as above. -If you are coming from Montepulciano, follow the signs to SINALUNGA. Once you get there, follow to the entrance to the 4 lane motorway to Siena, and take it towards SIENA. Then, follow the directions as above. BY BUS Siena is linked to/with (?) Florence every hour on weekdays with a direct bus (RAPIDA), while in the weekend and on holidays, every two hours. There are also daily bus links to Roma, Milano, Bologna; Grosseto, Arezzo, San Gimignano and, in summer, to Castiglione della Pescaia and Follonica (the nearest beaches). The central bus station is in Piazza Gramsci, 150 mt. far from our hotel. Once you get there, just walk LEFT towards San Domenico Church, and turn right on Viale Curtatone. After 50 mt., you will find us on the left side. BY TRAIN There are daily trains every hour, from 6.00 AM to 9.00 PM, to FIRENZE S.M.N. and EMPOLI, every two hours to GROSSETO and CHIUSI/CHIANCIANO TERME. Coming from ROMA/ORVIETO, we suggest you to switch train in CHIUSI/CHIANCIANO TERME. Coming from TORINO/MILANO/BOLOGNA/VENEZIA, we suggest to switch train in FIRENZE S.M.N. (central train station). Coming from PISA/PISA AIRPORT, we suggest to switch train in EMPOLI. Siena’s train station is outside the city walls. Once you get there, we suggest you to take a taxi (call center: +39 0577 49222) or the buses # 9 or 10 towards PIAZZA GRAMSCI, the central bus station which is 150 mt. far from our hotel. BY PLANE The nearest airports are FIRENZE, ROMA FIUMICINO and PISA. This one is linked to Siena with a daily direct bus service. Our hotel can also provide, on the clients’ request, a pick-up service with private car and driver.
